Magnesium Chloride for Tics

Based on the below testimony from a parent, we are going to try Magnesium chloride to see if it helps my son.

 My son and I both had periods of tics during chelation. I developed them
right before discovering I was toxic but his came after begining treatment.
Both got better, or completely disappeared, with liquid magnesium chloride.
We both showed very defficient and were surprised that taking it stopped the
tics. I’ve since heard that one doc always tests for mag defficiencies when
she sees tics — especially eye tics. Each time they started up again, the
mag would eliminate them.

New Behavoir- chewing on clothes !

Looks like with progress comes a price tag of chewing on clothes ! Kiddo is going crazy chewing on his shirt. His shirt is wet all the time…

2 steps forward 3 steps back !

Kiddo is making progress but at the same time his undesirable behavoirs are not fading.

His receptive skill has improved a lot, he can understand simple commands like hold mama’s hand, climb on the high chair, wait for mama.

His expressive skill has also improved. He says open, all done, push, more appropriately. He babbles a lot and a few times he has tried to converse with us which we dont understand.

He is learning things at a better rate than before. He has learnt to jump.  His gross and fine motor skills are improving overall.

His OCD behavoirs have become worse. He is also tantrumming which he never used to. He is sensitive and emotional.

His hand flapping has become worse. He is also grinding his teeth a lot. Hums a lot and also when he sees something he is obsessed with like water or spinning fan or some book or toy he stims with, he opens his mouth and his hands go up and then with a quick jerk they come down. Dont know what this is. He also squeals and runs around the hall.

April 09 Throw Ups

I am logging throw ups here for the month of April 09

April 24 – threw up twice the same snack because of texture issues. I made banana shake with hemp milk and the banana didnt puree completely. When one throw up starts, his gag becomes weak and its the beginning of a throw up season.  I will have to be careful for the rest of the day today especially since we have started chealation.

My stress meter now reads 200%

April 25th – threw up dinner while giving chealation meds. He threw up the same meal thrice. Pretty ugly scene. Became weak after that. Had no choice but to give him jar food.

Crazy crazy behavoir…

Kiddo is so restless running from one room to another room, across the hall and back again all the time squealing, howling. Its like some restless spirit has consumed him. Ah yes the evil spirit called yeast ! may be ?

Its just so annoying and hard to ignore. He is just not there. Its like a chicken running around with his head cut off. I literally get irritated and just dont want to be around him. I love him to bits but sometimes its not in me to handle it.

For me this looks like a yeast behavoir. We are still struggling to stick to a yeast killing regime.

progress…

in terms of progress i would not say we have wows ! but here are a few things

- has started to learn to drink from a straw bottle

- walk down the stairs holding on to railing.

- but he still climbs up the stairs. earlier he would only crawl up and down the stairs.

- loves books and i think he actually sees the pictures in it.

- he started tolerating texture like gummy bears, krinkles, sweet potato fries and he actually ate them but for the last few days he just keeps it pressed in his jaw.

- was pointing more . he pointed at our neighbor’s dog, at the baby in the TV , at the duck in the store. He wont do it consistently though.

- loves parachute time and the other day went and dragged his dad to join the game.

- pulls our hand to things he wants.

- kiss our cheeks when he ask for one. Grandma taught him how to do that.

Behavoir – Teeth Grinding

My son has started grinding his teeth for the last one week.

According to Dana’s view, It could be any of the following : Improper mineral absorption like improper zinc/copper ratio. For some kids, deficiency of calcium [ give it with vitamin K]. For some kids, yeast overgrowth.

Night time teeth grinding in sleep could be parasites.

For my son, I am suspecting improper mineral absorption and yeast overgrowth. I am going to start Magnesium tomorrow. I hope it helps.

Throw up !

My baby just threw up after a good 40 days . I hope this is just a one time episode and his throw ups are not returning back. He has having green beans casserole. We did not add any new medications.

The only differnce is I increased the dose of omega 369 and cod liver oil.
